Hi! My name is Ayanna Listenbee. I am a handbag designer + artist living in Southern California. I believe that beauty should touch every aspect of our lives, that it can be an encompassing umbrella under which one resides. I believe that we were put on this planet to add beauty to the world through the gifts we have been given, and that the beauty of humanity lies within our individuality, which is something to be celebrated! This belief + a love of fashion, lead me to begin designing at a very early age. First clothing and now handbags + life goods. I have a deep passion for pen + paper, the colors black + white, and encouraging others to follow their passions. For as long as I can remember, I have been sketching and ripping images of clothes, shoes, bags, jewelry and interiors from any and every magazine I could get my hands on. I would often paste these images into notebooks along with my own sketches and notes. When I look back, I see that everything I was doing then, was a blueprint of what I would be doing in my career as a designer + blogger. Today, I am blessed to be creating the life I want to live everyday.
The LookBook Philosophy is my playground, an online continuation of my sketchbook and the inspiration books I have always created. This is where I share style musings, inspirations, sneak peeks of my collections + collaborations, and introduce you to the people and places and things that inspire me. I will also share the trials and personal triumphs of a happy introvert growing a business in the extroverted world of fashion. The LookBook Philosophy is about inspiring creativity, sharing beauty and encouraging others to follow their dreams along the way. Enjoy your time here. Lets share and inspire each other!
