NYFW: Coach Fall ’14 Ready to Wear Collection

Coach Fall '14 RTW_thelookbookphilosophy.com Coach RTW Fall '14_thelookbookphilosophy.com I was really curious to see what Coach would offer up for their Fall ’14 collection. I am a huge fan of previous designer, Reed Krakoff, who was replaced by British designer Stuart Vevers last year. Thankfully Krakoff has his own eponymous line, so we can still expect to see beautiful offerings from him in the future. Vevers presented a fashionably modern take on classics for the new Coach clothing line. The coats and jackets were standouts to me, especially the red and black oversized houndstooth print, and of course, I loved the bags. (The large, fringed black cross body and tri-color satchel being amongst my favorites). Even the shearling lined wedge boots were beckoning! The collection was solid and had good movement and use of color. I am looking forward to seeing what Stuart Vevers has in store for the Coach line in the future.

What do you think? Do any of these pieces strike your fancy?

I get cold easily so suffering for fashion is hard for me to do, but If I can be fashionable and cozy, I’m down!! ☺ Lucky for them they were standing in front of cold looking images!!

Me too!! I think it would be easy to incorporate these looks into any wardrobe… except maybe the Apollo sweater! I love it on the model, but I don’t think I could rock it in real life! ☺

I’m with you Brandy, I could never pull off the Apollo sweater either, but it looks cool on the model! The bags are amazing though. The black fringe one is my fav!

Yes, I think the boots are great as well. I probably would not wear a rocket sweater, but the I’d take all the bags!!!

Yeah, I’m partial to the snow as well, but that’s probably because I live in California and its 75 degrees here and doesn’t feel much like winter… but that’s not a complaint. I know people in other parts of the country are really going through it!!

Glad you liked it Brianna! I think Coach is positioning itself to be a major player in the clothing game as well as the accessories front. Will be fun to see how it plays out!

It is pretty impractical for the East Coast, and even the South at this point! But It could definitely work here in Cali. Guess it’s all about what the weather is like where you are! Thx for visiting.

Stopping by from the SITS GIRLS comment love! Coach is one of the only designers that I really know. The fashions never really change.

I like the white bag as well. I think this new clothing line has a different feel for Coach. The silhouettes are classic but a lot of the patterns are not. Glad you found one thing you liked!

Since I possess a gorgeous wardrobe (that gets tons of compliments) all compiled from thrift/consignment stores, it’s a little hard for me to relate to edgy, new stuff. :-)

But out of all the pictures, I was struck the most by the golds, orange, and yellow some of the models wore. Those are my colors and they make me smile! (Black is great but it needs something cheery to come along and make it a little happier.)

    Beautiful blog!

How wonderful! I love thrifted clothing. I possess a great deal of thrifted items as well! There’s nothing like finding a treasured item of clothing that no one else has to make your own. Many of my favorite outfits have a thrifted piece at heart of it that I build out from. I love the individuality that thrifted items provide.
