March was a great month of progress for me. It was jam packed with learning, exposure, growth, outings and industry events. This was a really exhilarating month, and I was able to step out of my comfort zone and meet myself in a place of growth on the other side!
This week has been non-stop work wise, and I miss you guys! I had set aside this Friday as a day to spend time with the husband, but we have already managed to get into an argument (and it’s not even 9 am yet!!! -It’s okay, I know how to fix it ;) ). I promised I would fill you in on the haps, but there just has not been a slow down . . . which is actually good after so much slow time! I will share my travels with you next week, but for now, lets keep it light and bright! I hope you all have a fabulous weekend. Go out there and create the life you want to live! Happy Friday! xo
At some point in my life I will own, and live in a flat with herringbone wood floors, high ceilings, crisp white walls, floor to ceiling windows and beautiful moldings on the ceiling, walls and doors. I am posting this image as a simple reminder to myself of what the future holds. :)
What images are you keeping before you that speak to your future?
Good Morning Friends, I have been running non-stop lately. I created this poster for you as an apology for not keeping up with my regular posts like Mood Board Mondays, The Worn Identity and Thankful Thursdays. I promise I will get back on track after this week. I’ve got lots of good things to share with you, but my time is short. Today is especially important, as I am running off to a much needed hair appointment, in which my unruly gray hairs will be momentarily extinguished (at least for 2 weeks). For those of you who don’t know my pain, God bless you. For those of you who do . . . can I get an Amen? ☺ Happy Tuesday everyone! Make it memorable and worthwhile!!! xo
Style Republic recently featured a behind the scenes tour of the making of the classic Chanel Flap Bag. As a lover of the design process, I just couldn’t pass up the opportunity to show some of the images of what goes into the construction of this bag.
Things have been so busy lately that I haven’t had time to post like I want to, but I had to stop for a second and share this with you! Thursday morning I awoke to find that Gaby, of the inspirational interior design blog, Culture Design, had nominated me for a Liebster Blog Award! (Totally made my morning ♥) My first thought was “Wow!!! How Cool!!” My Second thought was “What is the Liebster Blog Award?” (I am only 6 months old, so bear with me for those of you who are familiar with this award :)). After some research, I discovered that the Liebster is an award bestowed to blogs that you find motivating and/or inspiring. What a wonderful way to support your fellow bloggers, don’t you think? Here are the 4 simple rules that come with accepting the Liebster Blog Award:
Thank the person who nominated you and link back to their blog.
Post the award to your blog.
Choose 5 blogs that inspire or motivate you that you feel deserve to be noticed. (The blogs you select must haveless than 200 followers) ☚ I have not figured out how to determine that yet, so forgive me if I select you and you have more than 200.
Finally, leave a comment on the 5 blogs you nominated to let them know they have been nominated!
Simple rules, and an awesome way to give back to those that have given to you!
Here are my nominees:
Maylana’s Closet– http://maylanascloset.com A lifestyle blog by a fashionable Brit now residing in the U.S. I always find something of interest here.
ClutterBox Creative– http://boboloulis.wordpress.com A wonderful representation of an illustrator’s artistic progress of following her dream to become a freelance illustrator.
Over The Story– http://overthestory.blogspot.com A wonderful blog that opens the floor for men and women to discuss the myths of how they “should” and “shouldn’t” act toward one another. A great blog that makes you think about those “stories” we create in our minds about situations we encounter daily.
