This week I am gearing up for this Sunday’s trip to Vegas for the MAGIC show. I will be driving out with my friend Nikki. My brain is all afflux, trying to put together comfy-chic wardrobe choices for the trip. I always pack in my head before I actually physically put cloth to luggage. There will be a lot of walking, seminars, appointments and, dare I say, eating. I wish I could say I was a gambler, but I never go higher than the .25 slot machines. (Do they still have those?) I have a hard time throwing money away, I’d rather give it to someone who needs it! Anyway, I’m looking forward to making new contacts, garnering info from the seminar series and checking out the new lines. I’m also looking forward to a change of scenery. I get very antsy if I am not able to see something different every few weeks. Nevertheless, there is tons of stuff to do here before I roll out. Kids need Valentine’s Day cards, birthday gifts for a party on Sunday, patches sewn on new karate gi’s, library books found . . . I could go on, but I will save you my laundry list of chores. I hope you are having a fantastic week so far!
These gorgeous platforms beautifully combine the natural textures of raffia, grosgrain and leather. Throw in the chain trim and these babies have just the edge and sophistication to cause passerby to do a double take. I. AM. IN. LOVE. ♥♥♥ Purchase them here.
I just LOVE a great printed T. Especially when the cut, color, and materials are superb. My wardrobe consists mostly of plain T shirts, but I have always been drawn to printed T’s. This year I am planning to add more to my stash. Recently, I discovered a company called Multeepurpose. They produce their T shirts domestically (YAY!) using pvc-free, digital water based prints, and best of all, Multeepurpose will donate 20% of each in-store purchase to a non-profit organization. What a wonderful way to give while getting!!
Gotta hit the stores for a few more gifts today. This is what I would love to be wearing . . . sans the 5 1/2″ heels. (I was never good at shopping in heels!) However, I just love these Charlotte Olympia pumps! They are so festive I just had to throw them in. Now, I am off to my real closet to duplicate. I’ll let you know what I come up with!
What do you like to wear when shopping?
